This wasn’t your average photography tour. InDepth India was designed to be a truly immersive, photojournalistic journey, taking us beyond the usual tourist trail and into the heart of an extraordinary country.
Our adventure began in the Blue City of Jodhpur, exploring hidden corners, colourful streets and everyday life, meeting local people and discovering stories that often go unseen. We also spent time with a very special not-for-profit organisation, experiencing authentic Indian life and gaining an insight into the people and communities who make this place so remarkable.
From the colours and chaos of Rajasthan, we headed north to Ladakh, the Land of High Passes, nestled between the Karakoram and Great Himalayan mountain ranges. A breathtaking landscape of vast deserts, dramatic mountains, ancient Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and vibrant cultural festivals. A place where every turn offers another photograph and another story waiting to be told.
This was never simply about taking beautiful pictures. It was about slowing down, looking a little closer, connecting with people and telling stories through our cameras. A journey for curious photographers who want to experience the real India, not just photograph it from a distance.
